June to Oct 2023 – The Idea & Concept Creation
Our founders Willa & Cathy. Willa has been working as a marketer in the beauty industry for over 5 years, she wanted to create something special to her heart as she used to collect perfumes as a child when she travelled with family. Each scent reminded her of the special times that she shared during their vacations out of the country.
“WONE” was a random word that popped up in her head one day and this inspired her deeply during the conceptualization process. The word meant nothing but at the same time meant everything to her at that point. It was the beginning of something beautiful.
Cathy on the other hand is a product developer in the beauty industry with over 8 years of experience. There is no doubt that she is an expert in coming up with products that deliver! With the oversaturated market in the beauty scene, she wanted to create products that will leave a mark and not feel like it’s just a fleeting moment.
Their focus on this endeavor led to a spark of innovation and creativity. What began as an exciting idea turned into a project that seamlessly blended their passion. This was the start of WONE.
Jan to June 2024 – The Inspiration Hunt & Supplier Search
Entering the world of fragrance, Willa & Cathy fed their creative juices through immersing themselves in a place that had full appreciation for scents — that place was Thailand. The country was filled with wonderful homegrown brands with a huge range of scents from gourmand to spicy notes.
This trip fueled their passion in creating an exquisite brand that can make you feel elevated every time you use the products.
The founders talked to numerous suppliers from different countries in search of the one who can tick off all the boxes from the checklist. It was a whole process of back to back meetings in order to discuss and share ideas on how both sides can perfectly meet the demands of the brand.
Oct to Dec 2024 - The Product Sampling
After testing endless samples from bottle to product fill, the founders were finally able to choose suppliers who understood what they looked for. This was the start of the final product sampling.
July 2025 - The Launch
We are happy to share our first 5 perfume mists that bring in so much emotion with every spray. We’ve been secretly using the prototypes the past year and have received countless praises on how we smelled so good without giving people in the room a headache! What a compliment it is to us because that was what we wanted to deliver.
